Borough Announcement to McClure Residents

The Borough Council of McClure would like to inform residents that another fiber-optic internet provider, Black Bear Fiber, has notified the Borough of its intent to expand service into the McClure area in 2026.

As part of this infrastructure project, residents should be aware that over 100 new utility poles are expected to be installed throughout the borough to support the fiber network. Specific locations and timelines will be coordinated with utility companies and shared as information becomes available.
